RN/LPN Update
The Southen Adventist university School of Nursing offers a nursing licensure update course. This course is designed for the RN or LPN with inactive licensure intending to re-activate a nursing license and return to practice in the State of Tennessee. It consists of theory and clinical experiences. The theory component includes the concepts of nursing that support current professional practice. The clinical component takes place at Chattanooga area health care facilities. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact the Tennessee Board of Nursing at 800-778-4123 to inquire about their eligibility to enroll in an update course.
